"First let me say the saddle is absolutely fantastic!!! Montana on the other hand ---not so good. All together I've ridden the saddle over 100 miles ..... Anyway, Silas was very controllable but we still got pulled at 43 miles because of a cramp in his rear leg, which he worked out just AFTER being pulled. The weather was terrible. It was really cold and snowed almost the whole time, which led to a lot of horses being pulled because of cramping. I had several people ask me about my saddle .... Lots of people said how beautiful and unique it was...... Silas received all A's on his back and withers with no signs of soreness or discomfort. The best thing though was that after I got pulled my best friend was still running in the 100. At 60 miles her horse was getting really backsore from her saddle. Since I was pulled, we put my saddle on her horse and in the next 10 miles all signs of soreness were gone--that's pretty amazing.
